Corn Pound Cake

Ingredients

- 1 cup P.A.N. Pre-cooked White Corn Meal

- 5 eggs

- ¾ cup sugar

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- ½ cup vegetable oil

- ½ tablespoon baking powder 

Preparation

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350° F. Grease a baking mold with vegetable oil and sprinkle P.A.N. Pre-cooked White Corn Meal.
  2. Whisk the eggs with sugar in a bowl. Then, add vanilla and oil. Set aside.
  3. Mix P.A.N. Pre-cooked White Corn Meal with baking powder in another bowl and add to the previous mix. Pour the batter in the mold and bake for 45 minutes.
  4. Remove from the oven and let the cake cool before taking out of the mold.
